R855 in Cambodia: Deposits, Withdrawals and Account Safety, Explained
Most problems at an online casino start in the cashier, not at the reels: a payment sent to the wrong QR code, a dollar card on a riel account, a withdrawal stuck behind missing documents, a stranger in a chat app who "can speed things up". This guide follows the money through an R855 account — in, around and back out — and shows where it can go wrong.

Eight games on the R855 front page
The operator puts these eight titles forward in its lobby, and each has a page here that explains the format and what a session of it costs. They range from hold-and-win respin slots and a classic fruit machine to a builder-pig all-ways slot, a pixel-art shooter with scatter pays and a roulette wheel hosted by a live presenter.
Payment methods to look for in the R855 cashier
Money in Cambodia moves through bank apps, QR codes, agent counters and cards, in riel and in dollars. The table lists the names worth looking for when you open the cashier. We have not confirmed any of the local methods at R855 — the operator decides which ones appear, and the set can differ between accounts — so read it as a checklist, then open each guide for what the method is and how a payment through it usually travels.
| Method | What it is | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| ABA PAY | QR payment straight from an ABA Bank account or card | ABA PAY at R855 |
| Wing | Wing Bank app and the Wing Cash Xpress agent network | Wing at R855 |
| Bakong / KHQR | National Bank of Cambodia payment system and its national QR standard | Bakong and KHQR at R855 |
| Visa and Mastercard | Debit or credit card from any bank | Visa at R855 · Mastercard at R855 |
| Bank transfer | Account-to-account transfer from a Cambodian or foreign bank | Bank transfer at R855 |
| Bitcoin, USDT and other coins | On-chain transfer from a wallet you control | Bitcoin at R855 · Crypto guide |
Limits, fees and processing times belong to the operator and depend on the account. If a table on any website, ours included, disagrees with the cashier, the cashier wins. The full payments guide walks through a deposit, a withdrawal and verification step by step.
Riel or dollars: settle it before the first deposit
Cambodia runs on two currencies at once. The riel (KHR) is the national currency and covers every purchase in the countryside, large or small; the US dollar is used widely in cities, in tourist areas and for bigger amounts. Neither "everyone pays in dollars" nor "everyone pays in riel" is true, which is why the currency of an R855 account deserves a deliberate choice. When your bank or wallet holds dollars and the casino account runs in another unit, a conversion happens on the way in and another on the way out, and each one carries its own rate. With the unofficial rate near 4,100 riel to the dollar, a deposit of 41,000 riel is roughly ten dollars before any spread is taken. Match the account currency to the account you pay from and both conversions disappear.
Withdrawals: what usually decides how long they take
A withdrawal is not one step but three. First the operator approves the request, which is where verification, bonus status and the name on the payment account are checked. Then the money travels through the rail you chose. Finally your bank or wallet credits it. The first stage is the one you can speed up yourself: finish verification before you need the money, deposit only from accounts in your own name, and keep the bonus balance in mind, because an unfinished playthrough can hold the whole balance. The withdrawal guide explains each status you may see and what to send when the operator asks for proof of payment.
Bonus offers, read from the cashier side
An offer changes what you can withdraw and when. Before accepting one, look at the lines that lock money rather than the headline number. The operator sets every percentage, cap and deadline, and they can change without notice, so we do not print them here.
| Offer type | What it can lock | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome bonus | The deposit and its winnings until the playthrough is finished | Welcome bonus |
| Free spins | Winnings, often with a cash-out cap | Free spins |
| Cashback | Nothing if paid as cash; a new playthrough if paid as bonus money | Cashback |
| Any active bonus | The whole balance if a single bet breaks the maximum-stake rule | Wagering explained |
Five scams aimed at players in Cambodia
- Chat-app "agents". Someone on Telegram, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp offers to top up your balance or to "speed up" a payout if you send money to their ABA or Wing account. The money goes to them, not to the operator.
- Fake mirror sites. A lookalike address copies the R855 design to collect log-ins. Use only the address you saved yourself; our mirror page explains how to tell a real page from a copy.
- Requests for one-time codes. No real support agent needs the OTP your bank or the casino sends by SMS. Whoever asks for it is trying to sign in as you.
- "Unlock fees". A message claims your winnings are frozen until you pay a tax, a fee or a "verification deposit". Operators deduct their own charges inside the cashier; they do not invoice you through a stranger.
- Doctored screenshots. A "payment confirmation" image proves nothing. Check your own bank or wallet app for the transaction instead.
Licensed, secure, trusted? Testing the three words yourself
Every casino banner leans on the same three words, and each can be tested in minutes. Licensed means a regulator's register lists the operator's licence number as active for the domain you are on; for R855 that regulator is necessarily foreign, and the number lives in the footer of the operator's site. Secure starts with the padlock in the address bar — an encrypted connection — but the part you control matters more: a password used nowhere else, two-factor authentication and an e-mail account that is itself protected. Trusted is earned by paying players on time under clear rules, which is why our review points to the withdrawal process and the complaints route rather than to a badge.
What Cambodian law says, in plain words
The Law on the Management of Commercial Gambling (LMCG) was promulgated on 14 November 2020, and the Commercial Gambling Management Commission of Cambodia (CGMC) applies it. The law does not allow Cambodian citizens to gamble or to enter casinos; casinos may admit foreigners only, and state lotteries are the single exception. Online gambling is covered by the law in name, but no separate online licensing route was created. A prime-ministerial directive of August 2019 stopped new online licences and renewals with effect from 1 January 2020, and in September 2026 the government announced that all online operations at casinos would be suspended from the start of October 2026, while land-based casinos stay open. In practice no Cambodian online casino licence exists. Whether you may use R855 is a question of the law where you are and of the operator's restricted-country list — not something this guide can settle for you.
Are Cambodian players welcome at R855, then? Not in the legal sense: the LMCG does not allow Cambodian citizens to gamble, whatever a sign-up page may show. For foreign residents and visitors, the operator's restricted-country list and the law of their own country decide.
Pros and cons of R855 from a money-and-safety angle
Pros
- Local rails such as ABA PAY, Wing and KHQR are the names to look for in the cashier, and each has its own guide here
- Card, bank-transfer and crypto routes give a choice of currencies and of how the money returns
- The operator's own account settings are where deposit limits and two-factor authentication are switched on
Cons
- No Cambodian online licence exists, and the law does not allow Cambodian citizens to gamble
- Local methods, limits and payout times are not confirmed and can differ by account
- The brand name attracts lookalike sites and chat-app "agents" that target its players
What this guide is, and what it is not
r855casino.com explains how the R855 cashier, account and offers work from the reader's side of the screen. We do not take deposits, hold balances, open accounts or answer for the operator; when you sign up or play, you do it on the operator's site under its rules. What we can do is tell you which line of the cashier or the offer to read first, which payment habits keep an account safe, and where to look when something goes wrong. Pages are written by Callum Rourke, who covers payments and account security for this site.
How to use this guide: if you are new, read the review first, then the registration page to set the account up correctly, and keep the deposit guide open the first time you pay. If a page here disagrees with what you see in your logged-in account, trust the account and tell us — the support page explains how to report an error.
